Really appreciate this. You’ve clearly articulated something I’ve struggled with for decades - noting I was ‘taught’ leadership at the Royal Military Academy - Sandhurst, and subsequently worked to shape and influence leaders at the Royal Military College Duntroon and the Australian Defence Force Academy.

This idea of practice and consequence is critical, as opposed to what we tend to do, which is all about position and title. Thank you.

Can you please format your column so the right margin is ragged right? When both margins are justified (as your column is, currently), the irregular spacing between words creates more work for my brain, and reading becomes a chore rather than a pleasure. Thanks in advance.
