Decades later, I still remember being at a conference and having had some terrible experience with a man. My therapist was there and I went looking for him to tell him I was miserable and needed help. He said he would help me. He gave me a big slap on my rear and said, "Cheer up!" I'd say that to you, but since you don't read comments, oh well...

Hope you’ll dive deeper into this arena. Protective thinking supports the illusion that attention is not scattered and that critical thinking is a waste of time
