MANMADE: 50 Failings of Our Own Making

A deep dive into the contents and the collaboration

Earlier this year I teamed up with my friend and colleague Adam Jacoby to write a book at his invitation. We wanted to create a book that was compelling, easy to read, and that can be used to spark deep conversations about life on Earth and our model of civilization.

We also wanted to include some of the most life-critical yet uncomfortable dilemmas that face us today - problems that are taboo, others that nobody really wants to talk about, and still others that mainstream media actively shy away from. We wanted to tell the truth as we see it, avoiding sugar-coating euphemisms, and backing away from divisive views. Indeed, in some ways we wanted to offend people if that wakes us up from our stupor.

The result is 'MANMADE: 50 Failures of Our Own Making' and is available in Kindle format from Amazon by clicking on this link. We expect to have a paperback version for sale in the Amazon store quite soon.

For those readers of The Hames Report who are interested in the origins of the book, as well as the context and impulse for collaboration which led to the publication of this book, here is a podcast recording by Google's "Deep Dive" duo.
